Bach, J.S. – Art of Fugue (BWV 1080) Volume 4, No. XIIIa, XIIIb, XIV, XV and Chorale Vor Deinen Thron, for Four Part Trombone Ensemble.

Bach's great monument to the Fugue has been newly transcribed in entirety by Ralph Sauer for 4-part Trombone Ensemble. The complete Collection comes in 4 volumes containing all of the Contrapuncti 1-15 including his last work, the Chorale, Vor Deinen Thron. Although playable by a quartet, the Fugues may be performed by a larger ensemble with the included optional divisi. Playable by advanced performers, any of these fugues chould be a major part of any Trombone recital/concert.
