Eric North’s compostion for Trombone Quartet is a brilliant whirlwind of excitement, agitation & drive. This 5 1/2 minute work is for advanced performers and uses contemporary techniques. The work uses clashing harmonies and strong rhythms as a way of building musical tension and excitement. The composition is challenging but rewarding to work on. Eric’s new work has already been performed by Haim Avitsur & will surely become a “must have” for the Trombone quartet repertoire.
