The Journey to Sweden - written for Serenade Ensemble by Mogens Andresen and Johannes Buhl Andresen - instrumentation by Daniel Drage.

During the second World War, Denmark was occupied by Germany 1940 - 1945.In 1943 it was rumored that the Nazis would arrest all Danish Jews, but in October the vast majority succeeded in escaping to Sweden in small fishing boats."The Journey to Sweden" is written in memory of this rescue.  - Mogens Andresen, 2013.
