Bach, J.S. – Concerto in D minor for Trombone and Piano.
J. S. Bach transcribed this lovely work, originally the famous Oboe concerto by Alessandro Marcello (the older brother of Benedetto Marcello) around 1730 and fashioned it into a Harpsichord Concerto No. 3, BWV 974. The work is in three movements, Fast-Slow-Fast and is about 11 minutes in length. For advanced performers, Mr. Sauer has included some ornaments, some which are written out, all in a very tasteful, beautiful style.
