Two Part Inventions for Two Trombones (duet)

Bach's 15 legendary Two Part Inventions, BWV 772-786, have been brilliantly transcribed for two Trombones by retired Los Angeles Philharmonic Principal Trombonist, Ralph Sauer. These works can be performed by 2 Tenor Trombonists or a Tenor & Bass Trombonist. All of the Inventions are in the original key and have been ornamented in the Baroque style by Mr. Sauer. The Inventions are perfect for addition to a recital or concert, or as a teaching tool and even just for fun in the practice room. Each of the 15 Inventions have been carefully laid out over two facing pages making the music easy to read. These works are for moderately advanced performers.
