Rheinberger, Josef – Abendlied, Op. 69, No. 3 for six (6) Trombone sextet.

Josef Rheinberger was a prolific composer , emimant teacher and was one of the last of the European composers who had employment as a “court musician”. Originally published as a six part choral setting in 1873, the text from Abendlied (Evening Song) is taken from Luke 24:29
